2. Eligibility and acceptance

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to enter into a contract, and accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not place an order.

3. Products and information

We take reasonable care to describe and display products accurately. Colours and finishes may vary slightly because of screen settings, lighting and natural material variation. Dimensions, compatibility, ingress-protection ratings, bulb requirements and installation instructions shown on the relevant product page form part of the product description. Please check suitability before ordering and use a qualified electrician where installation requires one.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include applicable taxes unless the Website states otherwise. Delivery charges, if any, are shown before checkout. Available payment methods are displayed at checkout. Payment is taken or authorised when you place your order. We may correct an obvious pricing error before accepting an order and will offer you the choice to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Orders and contract formation

Your order is an offer to buy. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not necessarily mean acceptance. A contract is formed when we send an order confirmation or dispatch confirmation, whichever occurs first. We may reject or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, payment cannot be authorised, information appears incorrect or fraud is suspected. If payment has been taken, we will refund it.

6. Delivery

Delivery is governed by our Shipping Policy. Estimated dates are not guaranteed, but we will deliver without undue delay and, unless another period is agreed, within 30 days. Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or a person identified by you, except where you independently arrange a carrier not offered by us.

7. Cancellation, returns and refunds

Your rights are described in our Returns and Refunds Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

8. Product use and safety

Follow all product, electrical and installation instructions. Outdoor electrical products must be installed and used only in locations suitable for their stated rating. We are not responsible for loss caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, incorrect installation, failure to maintain a product, or use contrary to supplied instructions, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

9. Our responsibility

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or breach of mandatory consumer rights. We supply products for domestic and private use. If you use a product for commercial purposes, we are not responsible for loss of profit, business interruption or loss of business opportunity, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Intellectual property

Website content, branding, text, graphics and design are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use the Website for personal shopping purposes but may not reproduce or exploit its content commercially without written permission.

11. Website availability and third-party links

We may update, suspend or withdraw Website content. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; those sites have their own terms and privacy practices.

12. Changes, severability and waiver

We may update these Terms prospectively. The Terms in force when your order was accepted apply to that order. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers living in Scotland or Northern Ireland retain the benefit of mandatory local consumer protections and may bring proceedings in their local courts. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern.
